Day 1:
Early morning we leave Hurghada to take a minibus (about 6 hours) through the desert to Cairo.
First, we visit the Egyptian Museum, which has an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. We must not forget to see what was found in Tutankhamun’s tomb on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor.
We walk around the Pyramid of Cheops while the guide takes us back in time some 4,500 years. We see the famous sphinx etc. Later on, check-in at the hotel. The afternoon is free for rest. Overnight at a four-star (b&b) Hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast, we meet in the lobby at 09.00 am, We go to the Citadel and the Mosque of Mohamed (Alabaster Mosque). Lunch at a local restaurant.
Then in the afternoon, we are going to spend some time in Old Cairo, home to many of the city’s oldest religious sites. Here we look at the (hanging church) dating from the 3rd century A.D. that rests on the remains of the Babylonian fortress. Eventually, we start driving back to Hurghada.
